- Damage caused by abuse, animal damage, burn marks, staining, fading, mildewing of fabrics, misuse or an act of nature, negligence in taking proper care and maintaining furniture, compression of cushion fillings/fiber, etc.
We make every effort to provide high quality images to ensure our website image closely matches the furniture that will arrive at your home. It is important to note that colors may differ depending on your device’s color settings. Also materials such as wood, leather, and marble have natural variations.
If you would like to see the actual color and feel of fabric, leather, or synthetic leather, please contact us and we will send you a swatch of our selected coverings and colors.
Delivery and standard shipping are free in the continental US. We offer White Glove Delivery at an additional cost of $350.
The furniture at TELA Italian Furniture Boutique is made specifically for you–it is made only upon your order. We do not have furniture in stock in warehouses. Once you place your order, our Italian artisans will begin handcrafting your furniture and when it is finished we will ship your furniture directly to you. Our handmade Italian furniture will take about 12-16 weeks to be created and delivered to you.
We ship anywhere in the continental United States. If you want to place an order outside the continental USA, please contact us at 866 436 0880 to arrange your order and shipment.

Yes, you can pick up your furniture from our warehouse. We have warehouses located in Los Angeles, Miami, New York, and San Francisco. At the time of your order, please let us know that you will pick up the furniture at our warehouse. Contact us at 800 436 0880 or [email protected]. We will coordinate with you to schedule your pickup date and time.
Yes, you can have your furniture made with your own covering.

Damaged
We do our very best to ensure that your order reaches you in pristine condition. However, if it should arrive to your home damaged, please take the following actions:
1. Note the damage on the delivery receipt and inform the persons delivering your items,
2. Take photos of all damaged packaging and damaged items,
3. Save all original packaging and packaging documentation, and
4. Notify us and the shipping company within 24 hours and email all copies of all documentation and photos. Please contact us at [email protected] or call us at 866 436 0880
All damage, including concealed damage, must be reported to us in writing along with photos within 72 hours of delivery.
Defective
If you receive an item with a defect, not caused by shipping, please take photos of the defective item, and email the photos to us at [email protected], within 72 hours of delivery. Please include an explanation of the defect.
We are certain that our prices are better than any reputable dealer in the continental US. If you find a better price, please email us at [email protected] or call us at 800 436 0880.
Once you place an order with us, we will regularly update you with your order status throughout the order to delivery process. We will update you via your preferred method–text, email, or phone call. Please give us a call at 800 436 0880 or email us at [email protected] should you have any inquiries.
If you would like to cancel or change your order, please notify us within 72 hours to cancel or make the change free of charge. There will be a charge of a 10% restocking fee if you cancel or change your order after 72 hours but within 30 days after the order is placed.
After 30 days of placing your order with us, the order cannot be canceled or changed.

This depends on your needs.
For our upholstered furniture, we offer leather, synthetic leather, and fabric.
Leather is usually more expensive but more durable, elegant, and easier to clean. Leather can be easily scratched and is susceptible to cracking or splitting. However, leather tends to last significantly longer than fabric before it needs replacing. Our leather is available in a range of options, the more inexpensive are less refined and more durable, while our higher end leather is more refined and soft.

Here are quick tips to consider:
- Avoid direct sunlight on your furniture
- Regularly care for and clean your furniture properly
- Immediately clean spills and debris–use the proper methods and products to prevent damage
- Be sure to protect your furniture to minimize damage, such as using coasters to protect a table’s surface
With proper care and maintenance, Italian Leather can last 10 to 15 years.
